SV	En het geschiedde te dien dage, als Eli op zijn plaats nederlag (en zijn ogen begonnen donker te worden, dat hij niet zien kon),
WLC	וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֔וּא וְעֵלִ֖י שֹׁכֵ֣ב בִּמְקֹמֹ֑ו [וְעֵינֹו כ] (וְעֵינָיו֙ ק) הֵחֵ֣לּוּ כֵהֹ֔ות לֹ֥א יוּכַ֖ל לִרְאֹֽות׃
Trans.	wayəhî bayywōm hahû’ wə‘ēlî šōḵēḇ biməqōmwō wə‘ênāw wə‘ênāyw hēḥēllû ḵēhwōṯ lō’ yûḵal lirə’wōṯ:

AC	ב ויהי ביום ההוא ועלי שכב במקומו ועינו החלו כהות לא יוכל לראות
ASV	And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place (now his eyes had begun to wax dim, so that he could not see),
BE	And at that time, when Eli was resting in his place, (now his eyes were becoming clouded so that he was not able to see,)
Darby	And it came to pass at that time, when Eli lay in his place (now his eyes began to grow dim, he could not see),
ELB05	Und es geschah in selbiger Zeit, als Eli an seinem Orte lag seine Augen aber hatten begonnen, blöde zu werden, er konnte nicht sehen-
LSG	En ce même temps, Eli, qui commençait à avoir les yeux troubles et ne pouvait plus voir, était couché à sa place,
Sch	Und es begab sich eines Tages, daß Eli an seinem Orte lag; seine Augen hatten angefangen dunkel zu werden, so daß er nicht mehr sehen konnte.
